Six men's leather briefcases from European brands in 2026

A brand-written shortlist of six European leather-goods houses, with one current briefcase reference from each and the published facts that distinguish them.

Written by House of Azuro, which is one of the six brands listed. This is a practical shortlist, not an independent ranking and not a claim that one bag is best overall. Competitor details were checked on each brand's own website on 10 October 2026; follow the links for current information.

How to choose

Start with laptop size and closure, then decide how much importance you place on a named leather grade, warranty length, visual character and price. Arthur & Aston is the closest current price match to Orsini. Chesterfield Stuttgart is similar to Augusto in width, structure and laptop capacity, but uses a flap snap closure. Time Resistance makes the strongest published warranty and tanning claims. Tuscany Leather and Castelijn & Beerens offer higher-priced alternatives with specific Italian leather claims. House of Azuro suits a restrained briefcase under €250 with a 3-year warranty.
